The lamp is in great shape, but it’s missing the brass socket cover for the pull chain socket. I bought a generic modern replacement but it won’t fit into the round ring that holds the socket. Do you have a suggestion for a replacement.

Great point on getting the wire through the top part bc that was driving me nuts last night. What bulb/rewiring kit did you purchase. I think I’ve got the wrong one with a knob not a pull as the lamp is already set up.
